Stamp Out Hunger 5k | Labor Day 2022
Public Safety Building – 91 Union St, Medford, NJ

This race is perfect for competitive runners as well as casual runners/walkers. The course is USTAF certified, and the race will include chip timing. All participants will enjoy the opportunity to join their community in supporting a great cause and the chance to take in the local scenery. Both the 5K and 1-mile race courses start in downtown Medford in front of the Public Safety Building (rain or shine). The course winds through town, and then moves out to surrounding country roads.

Pre-Race Day Fees: Register online by Sunday, September 4th. Or register at ShopRite of Medford, 208 Route 70 East, Medford, NJ, between 10 am and 4 pm on Saturday, September 3rd or 1 pm and 5 pm on Sunday, Sept. 4th.

Team Discount: Receive a $5 discount per person when registering 3 or more participants for the 5K.

Referral Reward: Get 5 friends to register and you will receive a $20 refund!

WHEN YOU REGISTER EARLY… you’ll receive a tri-blend t-shirt. The shirt will also be available to race-day registrants while supplies last. Register by August 20th, 2022 for best choice of shirt sizes. The first 350 registrants also will receive a drawstring backpack with perks inside.

Schedule of events:

6:45 - 8:15 AM: Race-day registration and bib pick up

7:30 dj gary pringle starts spinning the tunes

8:30 Am 5K start

8:35 AM: 1 Mile walk start

Parking: Parking will NOT be available at the Public Safety Building but will be available at the adjacent medical building and at Freedom Park.


Pre-Registered Participants: If you did not pick up your bib and swag bag at the pre-race packet pick up, look for the table for Pre-Registered Participants.  You will be able to pick up your bib and swag bag there. 

 Event Day Registration: Please proceed to our REGISTRATION TABLE to register on the day of the event.  There, we will have a QR code for you to scan that will take you to the online registration form for race day registrants. Credit Card payment ONLY. After you are registered, pick up your bib. 

Music: Gary Pringle “The Balloon Man” from Premier Parties will spin some heart-pumping tunes!

Refuel: Food and beverage will be available after your race.

5K Scoring

• All Overall Awards will be scored on gun time.
• All Age Group and Team Awards will be scored on chip time.
• There is no need to jostle for position at the start of the 5K .
• The latest timing technology is provided by DQ Events.

The official results of your placement will not be available until all participants have completed the course.

Register as a team to enjoy a friendly competition among family, friends and co-workers, or compete as a high school team. The top 3 members of each team category will receive awards.
