Stamp Out Hunger 5k | Labor Day 2024
Public Safety Building – 91 Union St, Medford, NJ
This race is perfect for competitive runners as well as casual runners/walkers. The course is USTAF certified, and the race will include chip timing. All participants will enjoy the opportunity to join their community in supporting a great cause and the chance to take in the local scenery. Both the 5K and 1-mile race courses start in downtown Medford in front of the Public Safety Building (rain or shine). The course winds through town, and then moves out to surrounding country roads.

Race Day T-Shirt: Those registered by August 20 are guaranteed their requested size in our Official Stamp Out Hunger 5K t-shirt. Shirts will be available after while supplies last.
Drawstring Backpack: The first 500 registrants will receive a drawstring backpack with perks and goodies inside.

Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up:
Avoid the rush on race day and pick up your race packet before the event!

Race Day Planning
Parking: Parking will NOT be available at the Public Safety Building but will be available at the adjacent medical building and at Freedom Park.
Pre-Registered Participants: If you did not pick up your bib and swag bag at the pre-race packet pick up, look for the table for Pre-Registered Participants. You will be able to pick up your bib and swag bag there.
Event Day Registration: Please proceed to our REGISTRATION TABLE to register on the day of the event. There will be a QR code for you to scan that will take you to the online registration form for race day registrants. Credit Card payment ONLY. After you are registered, pick up your bib.
Music: Gary Pringle “The Balloon Man” from Premier Parties will spin some heart-pumping tunes!
Refuel: Continental Breakfast Station will be available after your race.
Parking: Parking will be available at the Medford Medical Building lot and at Freedom Park. Please see map for specific locations.
Course & Timing Information
5K Scoring
• All Overall Awards will be scored on gun time.
• All Age Group and Team Awards will be scored on chip time.
• There is no need to jostle for position at the start of the 5K .
• The latest timing technology is provided by DQ Events.
The official results of your placement will not be available until all participants have completed the course.
Results will be posted at: DQ Events and on RunSign Up as soon as they are available.
*USATF cetified course, recertified for 2023.

5K Team Competition
Register as a team to enjoy a friendly competition among family, friends and co-workers, or compete as a high school team. The top 3 members of each team category will receive awards.
- All teams must pre-register online for the team competition.
